Newcomer / Intro Commit crimes in a system

Hello all, I have a PP mission which requires me to commit crimes in a system. I'm to gain a bounty of 495,920 credits. (I'm currently living the pirate dream and going after everything!)
My bounty (In fines and bounties) is at 3,789,000 CR but my progress is only at 50,000 / 495,920. Is this a bug?

Powerplay Mission Math wrong?

One of my weekly mission is to gain about 100,000 of bounty in one system. I accumulated over 900,000 woth of bounty in that system and it doesnt count that much, only 30,000. Any thoughts?

So I have a task to gain a bounty of 422,229 in a rival powers system. I have started doing this in power Signal Sources in underminding systems usually geting a couple of hundred bounty for an assault and 5000 for murder. After serveral hours of this, Im finding this slow to do and now boring...

TLDR: Either get to high notoriety, or don't bother with that weekly.

Thank you. Have decided not to bother with the missions and I'm going to continue building my settlement for now.
