Commodities storage.

So, I went over to the newly discovered ancient site in Synuefe. Did some sightseeing and collected obelisk data and... these artifacts from the ground. So far nobody knows what they are for. This means, I will have to keep them until it is discovered or revealed. Following this it as well means I need to keep them "in the pocket" even if I change my trousers. What if I want to free up some room in my cargo racks or just use a ship with no cargo hold... or a Sidewinder which has not that much of it?

This leads to an obvious conclusion: how come we already have module storage (and transfer) but no commodities one? Dear FD we really need it! This time now more than ever. Don't really wanna go back all the way down to Synuefe when it comes up that some engineer needs these artifacts just as meta-alloys from barnicles.

Got the exact same predicament as you.

It's excellent fun being scanned by a wing of 3 anaconda's whilst in a haz res and instantly being laid upon.
Wasted several SCB dealing with that one!

Considering just selling the artefacts and gathering more once they have a use.
Probably just engineering materials.

So FD have said they'd consider something for engineer commodities. Anything you picked up at the ancient ruins is either a monetary "thanks for coming" present or an engineer item as rockswift said. So if it's A) then it's valuable and you sell it. If it's B) then they'll eventually implement that. If it's C) then why don't you just jettison it, what are you a hoarder? There isn't even a C option!!?!
