Commodity Market, and an issue requiring rectification

I'm currently nipping back and forth between Altair and Kappa Fornacis in the current CG, trying to maximise my profits on my return leg for more Onionhead.

I note that as usual the two most profitable return items are Crop Harvesters and Marine Equipment.

I buy 4 tonnes of each for my return run.

Despite demand being 0 for Marine Equipment (i.e. everyone else is running them on the return leg so there is no demand) and Crop Harvesters demand being in the 11k region, I make more money through the sale of the 4t of Marine equipment.

Anyone else think this is odd, and discourages intelligent thinking when it comes to trading?

without telling us the supply of the marine equipment, where you buy them, i can't answer your question.

if you buy them dirt cheap, why shouldn't a dealer in kappa fornacis say: we don't need them, but i know a system where i can sell them for good money.
