Powerplay Commodity merits

I've just entered powerplay and had my friend help me hit rank 2 for A Lavigny Duval a few days ago. Today I tried delivering garrison supplies and was informed that my 15t of garrison supplies netted me 75 merits. After delivering a second load to a different station I checked the powerplay to find I've received thirty merits total for this week so far. What's going on?

you get 1 merit per ton, so the 15t you delivered gave you 15, not 75.

The week resets on Thursday and you lose around 50% of your merits.

This might be what reduced them from 75

I think you misread the 15 as 75 and your second run gave you another 15 thats a total of 30
(as fergal already mentioned: 1t equals 1 merit)
