I loved my budgie. Pretty Boy Floyd. Would join me for breakfast / dinner, sit on my knee while watching TV and talk back to it. Joined me in the shower once in a while. Don't forget seed supplies.

I am seconding this request. Budgies could be a rare breed that only exists in the Aruru system after they died out on earth..

Now they can only be purchased from Ford station in the Aruru system and are considered a rare commodity and are illegal in most systems since they are considered endangered..

The Vindicated shall therefore be known as the best Budgie Smugglers in the galaxy!!!!

Budgies are hardy travelers and do not mind shieldless ships. They are, however, extremely noisy. Thank goodness bird peeping does not travel well in space.

And since budgies are small, you can squish them in amongst the other live animals, that is Imperial Slaves. Minimal overhead.
