News Comms Chatter and The Weekly 10: The most visited star systems!

Always have wondered why only one system is designated for starters?

Ideally would be to have them start randomly inside the bubble, but I reckon you might want to have players seeing other players as soon as they launch on their maiden flights.

Even so, after the huge wave of players that brought Steam and now on the verge of having Xbone launch as well, I would think is relatively safe to pick some 4 or five different systems to bring more life to the galaxy, not just a huge conglomerate to one single system and then emptiness on the other side of the bubble.

Nice countdown to most visited system. But until the spawning point doesn't change, there will be no others number one or two....

Great feature... for newsletter please!

Would be interesting to hear more about maybe some of the why's behind the top 10 systems, like what is highest activity or most traded good, most smuggled good (for Ben Ryder in particular), and how many total player Hyper-jumps into the system. This is hinted at in three of the posts, mining, bounty hunting/piracy and stepping stone to other systems.

Maybe ideas for future Top 10 lists to go just a little deeper.

Impressed with how the expanded community team is delivering on their promises and interacting. :)

I'm surprised LHS 3447 wasn't lower on the list, ain't nobody trying to travel 100000 LS to a station xD
I'm not, when I first started out and spawned there, I hung around that system due to some mistaken idea that it was my home.
Perhaps many new pilots feel the same (until they learn how inconvenient that system really is).

LHS 3447 with Eravate are Nest systems... each day tons of Cmdrs spawns there, and like any newbies, they learn to fly at these places.

Apart of tons of Sidewinders, you can find quite few Psychopath/PvP Wanted Cmdrs who have often 1 000 000cr+ Bounty on them, each day.

Yes human nature is odd like that. I remember haunting Frigaha, Kini and Yakabugai for a ridiculous amount of time in the beginning. The galaxy seemed massive back then when 10LY jumps were pushing our FSD drives to the limit.
