Comms please!

I thought this thread was about in-game comms, but it's just another "Are we there yet?"
Is it too lat to re-rail it into an in-game comms thread?

What PvP and group communications options will there be? Voice, or just preselected and typed messages? Do I need to buy a microphone?

You will be able to hail any ship and speak to other players with some kind of in-game voice chat.

Well, then they would say "at the end of working week", wouldn't they? They also said "end of the week" *today* which doesn't make sense if dev diary is released today. If it does, then only because they got lucky to finish/approve it

probably no video today, could be wrong but a message saying either way wouldn't go a miss ... to stop people checking every five mins ... FD know if the update will be online today or not.

Indeed, I'd love to know why stuff like this is such a massive secret.

LOL by the time I clicked that link it had the dev diary link in it.

And I still don't know if that video makes me more or less likely to get the Alpha... :S :S
