Community Countdown livestream - We need you!

Hi everyone,

We're looking to put together a schedule of livestreams over the launch of Elite: Dangerous.

What's in it for you? We'll tweet out details of your livestream across all of our social media channels, and we will advertise your stream on our own Twitch channel too.

All you have to do is send me a PM with details of why you'd like your stream to be considered, or post in the thread below. It won't hurt to email me at elewis@frontier.co.uk either. The stream can last one hour, two, or even three? It's up to you (we'll settle on these details when we work out numbers).

Depending on how much interest we get for this depends on how many streams we do! I'm hoping to have enough to stream for 24 - 42 hours around the launch day, as well as a few hours each day leading up to it.

I'm usually on most everyday GMT 01:00- 03:00 EST 20:00-22:00

I've been exclusively streaming Elite: Dangerous since beginning of Premium Beta nearly every day.

Love this game, love this community, love this team. :)

I'd be interested in contributing, I've done streaming in the past although I think I prefer youtube since my schedule is wacky. I cn only stream between about 10pm and Midnight in California time - so I think that's about 6-8am UK time. Would be happy to fill an hour with my usual brain dump.

What time is the game actually launching, since the 16th is last day of school (and I have to pick Junior up at 12:00pm) ?

I stream semi regularly, i would say i'm on the bottom rung of the list of quality. I run the game minimum specs on a low end machine. The game optimization is excellent. I could be used as a demonstration that if i can run the game on my system well then anyone can. I'm avalible any point during that day from 9am to 9pm and can stream for a few hours.

I've been planning to stream launch night ever since I found out I was working the night shift on the 16th. Not done a huge amount of Youtube/Twitch as of yet, been holding off for the launch to sink my teeth in to it.

Will be grabbing my detailed scanner and heading out there for a few hours from 9pm onwards (or whenever the client finishes downloading) :D

I usually stream 19:30 - 23:00 in the week and something like 14:00 - 02:00 over the weekends! (When I'm home!)

...I should be able to squeeze an hour or 2 in somewhere! ;)

The more the merrier from my point of view, i will be without a machine to play it on from 15th - 19th so i need to be able to get my fix.

Kids these days just dont get the fact that taking their laptop with them for a weeks training course is actually Parent Cruelty when its the machine i play ED on and Christmas ( Hint Hint ) is not here just yet :p

I'm mostly a YouTuber of Surround and Eyefinity videos, my latest one being The Crew (link in my sig), however I have tested and know my system is more then capable of streaming Surround and Eyefinity, hell I can just about stream the same resolution that I upload to YouTube at, 4032x840, but given the bandwidth needed to do that I probably wouldn't stream at that high a resolution. But yeah I can probably do something in the evening UK, so I'll send a PM your way.

UK player calling, and very interested. As a fan of Elite from the original version through to this 4th incarnation, why wouldn't I? depending upon specifics, I could stream between 9am and 5pm or 7pm to 11.59pm (I turn into a pumpkin at midnight so...).

My new x99 six core i7 5930 arrives tomorrow, so I'll be ramping up the quality and testing it for Elite Dangerous streaming for much of the day onwards.
