Community Event Proposal: Materials Needed To Salvage Crashed Thargoid Ships For Study

A number of thargoid ships that crashed during the last conflict (after being infected with the Mycoid bioweapon) have been found by the Canonn Research Group. I propose a community event by Professor Palin, Aegis, or a similar organisation to salvage these ships and bring them back for study, with the end goal of both reverse engineering thargoid tech and accessing their databanks to learn more about our foe (Homeworld location for example). Have players supply raw materials for the rather large containment units needed to safely store these ships during transport: meta alloys, neofabric insulation, radiation baffles, etc.
