Community goal cargo value

We can deliver the following:

- tantalum
- cmm composite
- cyclops tissue sample

However all of them have value of 1, meaning that delivering a tonne of any of the above moves us all by 1, regardless which of the goods we deliver.

I say that due to how difficult it is to obtain and safely deliver a cyclops tissue sample it should be worth much more than the other two considering the completion of the community goal.

That is all.

Thoughts?

This has been discussed in a couple of other threads. It seems like most people support making the samples count for more than the regular commodities. Which makes sense, since as it stands it's objectively worse to collect samples than haul bulk tantalum or composites.

Although much like last week's CG for anti-thargoid gear, participation unfortunately seems too low to reach a high tier either way.

Yup. There's multiple threads around about this. I've already written my thoughts multiple times, suffice to say the current cg arrangement is dumb, and actually encourages people to *avoid* experiencing the new thargoid content.

Participation may be low... that's what happens when you run 5 trade cgs in 2 weeks, nevermind the fact they should bee primarily about the alien materiaals and not market ready commodities, people simply get fatigued of the same thing over and over. If they made the tharg materials matter more they'd get way bigger participation from an audience who enjoy recovering these items.
