[Community Goal] Dissappointment

I had been out in the black since March of 2015, so this is really the first time I could participate in community goals, and I picked the Night After the Night Before, a specific ~trading~ community goal.

I ran 12,800+ units of coffee and water purifiers to the proper station and got to the top 10%. Woo-hoo! 6.75 million credits! However, the sad part, NONE of this bonus trading credits get applied to your trading stats. What?!? I did all of this trading, got blown up with the overpowered NPCs (yeah I know, I get that back, credits in the bank account is not what this is about), and my trading stats go up only by the profit of the units I sold and NOT the bonus because I sold those units?

How boring. I am only at 82+ million profit from trading, and the 6.75 would had made a nice dent, however now I have 918+ million to go instead of 912+ million before I become Elite in trading (as I am now Elite in Exploring).

Yeah there have been some community goals with the top 5 CMDR's earning in excess of 40million credits. It's not a shortcut to Elite unfortunately. You are close, don't feel the need to rush the end since you'll never be able to rank again without save re-setting! :D

Chin up and see if you can get a trading Imperial Cutter, those things spit out profit and turn around to say "Smuggling, who'd want to do that?" :p
