Community Goal Reward Thresholds Plugin Launched for EDMC

Hi,

CMDR's that participate in CG's often wonder where the Boundary is to move upto the next Tier of Reward.

"Shall i do 1 more run of cargo? Shall i go and spend anohter 20 mins of Bounty hunting..." Well, this will help you!

My CG Threshold Site, tracks calculates this through manual contributions.

I'm please to announce the Launch of the CGThresholds Plugin for EDMC which automates the anonymous data gathering of CMDR CG Contributions which willl make this more acurate.

More data points , better descision!

Please, Consider downloading EDMC and the plugin, once installed it quietly updates the database!

Many thanks to all who helped co-author and test. Any questions or suggestions to improve pls let me know!

Great work.

But I often wonder ... if I do just enough to get in the next threshold, will everyone else be doing the same .... and the threshold therefore shifts ?

Its like the two photogrphers working in the serengetti photographig feeding Lions, and one puts on his trainers.... the other says 'No point in doing that, you'll never outrun a Lion' the other replies
'As long as i outrun you, ill be fine..'

With enough CMDR's doing the CG's, ensuring you have gone over the next threshold by one or two runs , should see you ok if you're within a day of the end of the CG...

I might actually track the final totals and start to trend the usage so that one can work out anticipated average runs.. eg On average it takes 10 runs of an Anaconda 272Tonnes to be in top 50% at the end of a CG.."
