The Colonia Bridge Project has hit a snag. While deliveries have continued apace since the announcement of the remarkable plan, galactic production has not kept up. Suppliers have rapidly found necessary components for construction difficult to acquire.
Help, however, has come from an unusual corner. The Saud Kreuger Corporation, most well-known for their trademark passenger ships the Dolphin, Orca, and Beluga, has made known an interest in collaboration in the ambitious project. CEO Stanislav Kruger spoke yesterday on the offer:
"We of the Saud Kreuger Corporation are sincere proponents of the Colonia Bridge Project, and wish to help however we can. However, our trademark Beluga Luxury Liner - whose comfort and convenience are always in the top 1% - is due for an upgrade, to cross the large distances between connecting starports."
"We have agreed to a 1 to 10 trade; for every unit of Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes independent pilots provide to us, we will retask our production facilities to produce ten units of Computer Components, Ceramic Composites and Thermal Cooling Units for the safe and timely completion of the Bridge."
Should we reach our goal, my scientists assure me that we will be able to upgrade ALL active and future Beluga Liners to be outfitted with a state-of-the-art Class 8 Frame Shift Drive, securing for the next 100 years the Beluga as the premier choice in luxury transport!"
