Newcomer / Intro community goals - how do i get technical blueprints?

having earnt a decent wedge doing teh community goals missions i thought i give the latest one a try - delibering technical blueprints to Mu koji for the federations ( or you can choose to deliver military intel for teh empire).
But i haven't got a scooby as to where you find these blueprints - help much appreciated.

from reading, i guess you need to go for convoy beacons, but i'm out in the black, so i don't take part this time!

Not tried it myself but you have to head for the convoy beacons and find a freighter with escorts, disable the freighter, deal with the escorts then use hatch breaker limpets to acquire the loot. The community goals #6 mega thread in the Dangerous Discussions stickies mentions more details including the name of the ship, if this isn't in the info in the first post there then you can either read back from the end or try around page 666, I said it was a mega thread.

If it is anything like the convoys we were raiding with Goemon some time ago during another such CG, prepare for some serious opposition. We had a Courier, Cutter and an Anaconda and still were butt-kicked quite hard, repeatedly.
