So far from the revamped galvid, I get meaningless news from the past 3 months. The new stuff is all powerplay, which has nothing going on.

FD said CGs are not going away. I get the feeling that the payback from CGs would render PP moot... This game, jesus. Having a big ship, they've taken away all means of making money except for trading. The CG was fun because you can grind combat to up your *combat* rank and make great $$ at the same time. Now, nope. You get tokens. And $1k per week.

There are two community goals. Fill your boots. Do a search for 'active'

Try power play. You gain free stuff and lose nothing.

1k per week for nothing and the rest of the game is the same.

Me? No. I'm just an independent trader. Signed up with the Utopians and seeing if they are as nice as their label in the hope the glaxay will be a better place.

Antal might be a nutter, but don't tell anyone I said that or it's off to the capital for me!

You read it and work stuff out for your self. It normally says stuff like jeff needs biscuits, go to the shop and bring Jeff biscuits or Jeff might need biscuits soon or some such. Just like it has since community goals turned up... That could ahve been read as a nasty comment but it wasn't meant to be. The tone may have sounded off. Just read the stuff on galnet and go do what you fancy.

And if you haven't give power play a go, you should. You have stuff to gain and nothing to lose. It's good stuff

Not much of a reward and not much worth it really except for pride in the power you support.

CG stories normally say something along the lines of "interested pilots should sign up at <station name> in <system name>". There'll typically be a button too at the bottom of the story so that you can view the system and figure out how far away you are.

Its been about a week since the last profitable Goal was ended so hopefuly a new one is just around the cornor.

On the last one (CG) I made about 12 mil in under a week of easy play. I know for some that may sound like chump change but for me it was like hitting the jack pot. I was never sure why "jack" had a "pot" but I thank him for it just the same.

active community goals has been there, at the top of Dangerous discussion, since the dawn of time. Long before the war of Lugh, back when they was testing the waters.

hints towards community goals have always been dropped in the Galnet. Especially the ones that mention a particular star system, and a particular dock in that particular star system.
