Horizons Community Goals

I can't really understand why the community goals have been axed (if they have), okay the rewards were sometimes a little over the top (get rich quick type) but surely rather than stopping them a better option in my view would be to reduce the rewards. I for one don't want shoot 'em up's, some do, I don't. I'd rather be doing trading / community goals and exploring (if I knew how to). So can the team have another look at the community goals and maybe have a rethink,please.

What are you talking about? CGs still exist and if you make it into the top 10% a 20mil bonus is not uncommon.

The ones I noticed this week are for DATA and not what I've done previously, collecting goods and there has been on a few occasions where it's been bounty stuff or something similar. If I've wrong the so be it, I'm not into that, I just want to trade and explore, is that too much to ask for. I 'm aware that some people like the shut 'em up, but not me, reason is I'm rubbish at it, so I'll stick to what I can do best. And I still believe that lowering the rewards is the best option, I'm one of those that has collected 20 + millions and been in the top 10%, but still wouldn't if the rewards were lowered, it's not all about collect as many credits as you can for me.

Phew! You had me worried for moment. I thought they'd been axed.

So what you meant was: why are the current community goals not doing what I want to do?

I think I'm right in saying that most CGs are trading based. If there isn't one right now, this minute, there likely soon will be.
