It was an amazing stream indeed!
And so many subjects where i was thinking "oh yes, ofourse" like the transactions of music on the main screen. You hear it, but it's so smooth, natural and subtle that you don't notice it untill someone tells you.
I think small things like that are partially responsibe for the very positive vibe people get from playing this game.
A BIG BIG thank you ofcourse to Jon for making sure custom music made it into the game! It really makes sure you can build a zillion coasters and theme them up in a zillion way's (scenery/structures + music)... And all of them are different in atmosphere. Can't thank you enough for this.
I never imagined music and sounds were so complex! like i said before it amazes me there was any room left for graphics, animations, simulation, etc etc because just the sound part of the PC project is huge.
Would be nice if you win the award, but just being nominated is already a crown on your work i guess. Well deserved!

I'm only halfway through it, but what an interesting stream. This "under the hood" stuff just shows how amazing this game is. Please do more of this kinda stuff.

Agreed, this was the best stream I've seen for Planet Coaster to date. It was a revelation, and Matthew and Jon both exuded personality and passion for what they do. I really hope they are able to come back and finish what they started here.
When you see the furry Rycote windjammers in the studio and are like WHY! there's no wind... or is there hmmmmm... but great stream loved every second as a sound designer and field recordist myself.
