Currently we just won a civil war against the main faction and captured the main faction holders station, Swift Terminal. The system now belongs to the Alliance faction Gold Vision Co.
We have very heavy RP elements within our campaign and have a very strong 269 member (and growing!) group affiliated with the 4,000+ member EDC (Elite: Dangerous Community).
We would like to request a name change for planet B5 in Eta Draconis. Our community debated, voted and decided we would like to request B5 to be changed to "Domus Draconum"
We just want to do this only once, so please don't assume this will happen after each campaign, or open up the floodgates to something more. That is not our intention whatsoever.
This is our first successful campaign and we would like to immortalize it forever, as we have done as a whole with New Yembo. I do not see the harm in doing something like this, only ONCE.
I have included all logs made by CMDR Furieux and the two made by myself. I have also included a timeline at the end which was created by CMDR Furieux.
There is also a video about the minor war that happened between 2 small 5% influence factions before 1.2 came out.
The campaign took 52 days to complete. Thousands of man/woman hours were put into this, I would love to see their hard work rewarded.

Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. We at Gold Vision Co are committed to improving and evolving our home worlds in keeping with local cultures and policies. We love our provincial traditions and customs just as you do. As you will no doubt be aware, the Federal presence so far in our glorious system has largely been tolerated and even promoted. This cannot be allowed to continue. We have witnessed the aggressiveness of the Federation and their ability to overpower and dominate in previously independent systems, ultimately assuming command and eclipsing district principles. We must stop the corporate advance and takeover of Eta Draconis before it is too late. Conference talks and meetings with the heads of both the Eta Draconis Regulatory State and the Eta Draconis Freedom Party have failed to form any satisfactory or workable agreements. Negotiations with officials from the popular democratic Union Of Eta Draconis Labour on Eta Draconis B5 concerning the danger of increased Federal operation in the system have been ignored. We fear that corruption and bribery are at work. We are left with but one option. We must elevate our influence and promote our presence in the system. We must instigate and purposefully incite action against the Federation and its local allies. Our policies may require enforcing. Our message may demand violence. Our strategy calls for the strong of heart and a willingness to do what is right for Eta Draconis. There is no other way. Independent pilots and respected commanders, we urge you to please assist us in bringing Eta Draconis under the doctrines of the Alliance charter and safeguard the system from future Federal expansion. Independent pilots have been slowly arriving at our stations in support of our cause. Change is on the horizon. The time for diplomacy is over. Word has spread of our opposition to Federal occupation in Eta Draconis. Rival parties have begun to take our policies seriously and we have just received word that the Natural Eta Draconis Freedom Party has already prepared for war. They consider our actions an act of terrorism.
Securely encoded transmissions sent from one of our un-named supporters near Eta Draconis 1A confirm that the NEDFP are engaging our members in open conflict. Hostilities have also been reported in the orbit of Eta Draconis A7, with fighter squadrons of the System Defense Force firing upon GVC ships.
The SDF have also set up Authority checkpoints throughout the system in an attempt to quell the violence. Approach these with caution.
We have the full backing of the Alliance Defense Force and have been informed by Alliance High Command that reinforcements from local Alliance systems have been deployed.
We have been issuing contracts on our station bulletin boards for commanders willing to help us clear the threat to our efforts in the warzones. Rest assured, you will be paid for your assistance.
Economically, we are doing exceptionally well. Our mineral processing plants on Alvarez Terminal and Fisk Port continue to produce high volumes of ore from Eta Draconis A4 and A5, and our foundries are performing to a very high standard. Our refineries have supplied metals to neighbouring systems for decades and we would ask pilots to continue transporting our wares.
We would also ask our supporters to keep supplying our stations with essential goods such as foodstuffs for our citizens and replacement machinery to keep the furnaces lit.

Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. Our efforts are gathering steam. More and more independent pilots have been arriving at our stations to assist us in furthering our cause. Reports of increasing numbers of commanders engaging the NEDFP have been received from an un-named supporter who is currently fighting near Eta Draconis 1A. Response from our backers have been positive. CMDRS Michael Kristophers and Talynne Star have submitted detailed records of their actions in helping Gold Vision Co towards its goal and and we have been issuing a significant amount of combat bonds to many other respected pilots. We appreciate your efforts greatly. Reports also suggest that battles have ensued at System Defense Force checkpoints. CMDR Koltor has made an attempt to rally fellow pilots in a bid to tackle the growing SDF security crackdown near Fisk Port. We commend his actions. Several SDF Anacondas have been seen to arrive in other combat zones throughout the system suggesting that the conflict is escalating. Market data indicates that independent pilots have begun exporting our goods en masse. Palladium and gold, our most popular commodity, remain at high levels. Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. The conflict continues. Our un-named supporter has confirmed the arrival of several allied commanders at the warzones over Eta Draconis A1, A7 and A5. Both sides have been seen to take heavy casualties yet the battle seems to be advancing in our favour. For the acts of bravery and heroism shown by our valiant pilots we are eternally grateful. We are humbled by their support. The fighting near Fisk Port is having a negative effect on our regular shipments of machinery. Station Admininstration have informed us that they are dire need of new mineral extractors, power generators and water purifiers. Day to day essential commodities such as clothing and and consumer technology are also in high demand due to a decrease in the amount of trade vessels arriving on site while the battle rages above Eta Draconis A5. Our exports, while still at satisfactory supply levels appear to be showing signs of decline. CMDR DRY411S reports that he has been issuing trade information dossiers and suggesting tips to other merchants in Fisk Port bar. His hard work and knowledge of our neighbouring economies is worthy of commendation. We have also seen increasing amounts of monies contributed to our war effort by several of our allies, and in one instance, a massive four million credit donation, courtesy of CMDR Unfazed. We cannot express enough our gratitude to all those who offer their support. All these efforts are beginning to show promise. The Union have dropped a massive 1.1% in public polls and while we have made a further 0.3% increase in our overall presence, the Vision Party are showing the highest leap in influence with +1.2%. Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. Today I have both good and bad tidings to bring you. Firstly, we have been informed that our 100th commander has joined in support of our struggle. However, this cause for celebration is somewhat marred by the news of our local public opinion poll. Sadly, we have dropped 0.1% of votes in the last 24 hours. More alarming is that the Federal, Eta Draconis Vision Party are garnering an unprecedented amount of influence within the system. Our current battle with the Freedom Party is far from over and I am pleased to say that we still have the upper hand. This is no cause for major concern as yet. Stay strong in your beliefs and lend your superior combat skills and shrewd talents for trade and we are sure to see a change for the better in the days ahead. Greetings fellow commanders! Mr. Vondell is currently away on diplomatic business, so you lot are stuck with me, CMDR Furieux, instead. Right then! Judging by the update we are back on track. Yeah – so okay, it’s merely 0.2% but we are shaking our righteous fists in the right direction. The EDVC have managed to bump up their clout in ANOTHER massive leap with a chunky +1.4%. All the others are just losers. A couple of important points and interesting views have been mentioned today and I think they are worth discussing and testing. CMDR Bristar, has made the suggestion that accepting GVC missions from stations OTHER than Alvares or Fisk may have greater impact on our influence. We should make attempts to explore this. He also suggested that reducing unrest and closing the civil war state (which is followed by a 25 day cool down period) may give us breathing space to trade in our stations, increasing influence and causing unrest in other rival stations with a mind to spark civil war between two of our enemy factions. Perhaps this is why the EDVC are performing so well. My only fear is that we end the war too quickly. We need to have the upper hand in the conflict in order to take Irens Hub from the Freedom Party. Personally, I would like to have seen the NEDFP reduced to as little as 0.1% before calling a ceasefire. Some awesome input there. Thank you CMDR Bristar. Your enthusiasm inspires. Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. As you will no doubt be aware, our war with the Natural Eta Draconis Freedom Party has come to an end. Negotiations with NEDFP officials have resulted in a temporary ceasefire. However, countless pilots have fought and given their lives in defence of Fisk Port, and while we walk away today with our assets intact, we shall not forget the actions of the NEDFP towards both our people and our economy. We would like to thank all pilots for their playing their part in the conflict. Given that the hostilities have now ceased, our task in bringing Gold Vision to the forefront of the political stage is of prime importance. Our stations are performing remarkably well, with many new traders exporting our products and supplying us with much needed essentials, and this is reflected in the current distribution of power. We are extremely pleased to announce that we have managed to reap a massive +4.5% increase in public visibility, being the only party that saw an increase within the last few days. The leading faction, UoEDL continue to lose support and even the Federation backed EDVP have lost some footing within the system. Exciting times, commanders! Our business and political activities within our system borders are on the rise thanks to our loyal pilots who continue to regularly supply us with much needed commodities and export our products. Some of the traders among you who regularly supply shipments of our products to Piserchia Port in the Alignak system may have read the latest edition of the Alignak Journal that featured an report on the expanding business and political activities of Jet Legal & Co. Of course, we had previously been alerted to this intel after receiving a securely encoded transmission from loyal supporter CMDR Drazik a full twenty four hours before. The vigilance of our pilots is admirable.

While our war with the Natural Eta Draconis Freedom Party over Fisk Port seems a distant memory, the threat of hostilities resuming still exists. Our intel section, Room 41, informs us that the NEDFP are currently preparing for another bout of open hostility towards us as we increase in power to their detriment. Be aware that this could escalate. On another front, the current system ruling Union of Eta Draconis Labour have seen a huge 16.7% drop in power distribution in Eta Draconis since we began our worthy cause. We do not expect them to take this lightly and suspect political machinations from this party sooner or later as they alter their strategies.

Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis! Last night, local news network The Eta Draconis Evening Times published an article in relation to the Union of Eta Draconis Labour’s sudden increase in security. The UoEDL have openly declared that our trade embargoes to their stations are illegal and that assaults on their ships are an act of piracy. They have saw fit to publicly label Gold Vision a ‘pirate gang’. This slanderous and desperate attempt to inspire fear in our citizens is clearly an attempt to claw back some of their lost votes.
Negotiations with the UoEDL were ignored in the past and we have no intention of pursuing any reconciliation at this time.

Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. While Gold Vision Co saw a slight drop in our widening influence throughout the system yesterday, we must not allow this minor setback to demotivate us in our cause. The UoEDL have clearly set plans in motion in order to regain some of their waning popularity. This could mean that some Independent pilots have willingly or unwittingly been actively trading at Swift Port. While we know that our supporters are fully avoiding any kind of commercial activity the Union’s station we feel we need reiterate that NO goods should be delivered or bought from Swift Terminal. We must also take into account that Room 41 received a transmission from one of the security vessels outside Alvares Terminal with regards to ships gathering en masse just shy of the No Fire Zone. What camaraderie these pilots were engaging was of slight concern to us, as while they appeared to be causing no apparent mischief, business slowed considerably. The Security Official was heard to have said, “I got to admit, I am a little scared. Some of those ships look badass!” We are, however, informed that after the ships dispersed, or docked, takings in the Star & Garter doubled after the said pilots retired to the bar after whatever business they were involved in came to a close. That Gold Vision Co have gone from having very little visibility within the boundaries of our beloved system to utterly dominating the distribution of political power, market share and military might in such a small timeframe has exceeded our expectations. Eleven standard hours ago, a Lakon Type-6 entered the no fire zone of the EDRS owned Dietz Orbital extraction platform. Station control granted the EDVC registered vessel clearance to dock. Minutes later, hangar 3 erupted into chaos as the ship exploded on the pad killing several bay crew and maiming many others. While station personnel worked to minimise damage, a fleet of EDVC ships were picked up by platform scanners amassing above Eta Draconis A7. Several defence ships were deployed from Dietz Orbital in an attempt to halt the approach towards the station. War had begun.

Over on the frontline, combat pilots have been reporting that vessels deployed by Federal Navy are proving to be far more competent than the System Defense Force as seen in GVC’s last war against the NEDFP. We advise caution when approaching these fleets. Personnel based on Walsh’s Legacy, a mining facility on Eta Draconis A7 report that their scanners detected twenty four Federal Dropships setting down 40km outside the plant. EDRS miners fear that a direct assault from EDVC troops is forthcoming in an attempt to disrupt the transport of minerals to Dietz Orbital. Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis. Mineral supplies to the EDRS station have almost halted. Just four hours ago, federal troops stormed the mining plant, Walsh’s Legacy, on Eta Draconis A7. Station personnel have been rounded up and contained within armoured holding cells deployed on the surface. In orbit, the System Defense Force are still desperately fending off the seemingly unending assaults from Federal ships backing the Eta Draconis Vision Company. Some independent pilots have joined the battle in support of the EDRS, but numbers are becoming thin, seeing the party lose yet more of the market share within the system. However, Gold Vision Co are now without doubt the sole power within our local borders. The people of Eta Draconis have spoken with their votes and our future as an Alliance protectorate is almost set. Federal Ambassador Michel Brocke is said to have left Eta Draconis after talks with Union of Eta Draconis Labour officials. UoEDL President, Tamira Santangelo, has yet to make any public announcement regarding the visit, suggesting that negotiations did not go as well as they had planned. Greetings citizens of Eta Draconis
Several hours ago, the first UoEDL and GVC vessels of war were launched. Enemy System Defence Force fleets have arrived at Fisk Port, and the station is now under siege. Alliance High Command have deployed ADF and many have already arrived in system with more en route, taking the conflict to Swift Terminal itself. Security checkpoints have been set up outside our own Alvares Terminal in a bid to stop the flow of independent pilots from what is now the busiest station in Eta Draconis from joining the war effort. Our one time allies, the Eta Draconis Regulatory State, this morning agreed to back Gold Vision in our campaign and as a result, have seen their mining colonies on Eta Draconis A7 and its station, Dietz Orbital, under attack by UoEDL ships.
This is our moment, commanders. This is what we have been waiting for. Our efforts over the last two months in making Gold Vision Co the leading party in Eta Draconis have proved successful. This final battle, Operation: Apodidae, will be the final nail in the coffin for the controlling party, giving GVC ample opportunity to ensure that our system becomes an Alliance protectorate, safeguarded from future Federal expansion.

Inside sources report today that there was a covert raid early this morning by a Gold Vision Co. special forces squadron into Swift Terminal. This group apparently lead a small force of silent-ran sidewinders onto select points of the star-base and entered through the bulkheads into the main structure.
The operatives maneuvered towards and captured the main control terminal and shut down all power and gravity to the docking bays; while the main assault for…ce entered through the bay doors, which were now unshielded.
The Union soldiers quickly surrendered aboard the Station as their morale was shattered after the docking bay was depressurized and their main command and control was captured by the operatives.
Small firefights are reportedly still occurring aboard the station as the black markets and remaining pockets of Union soldiers are being dealt with.
The government of The Union of Eta Draconis Labour is falling apart and we are not too sure as to what will happen to them. The majority of their leaders are either dead or missing.
We spoke to President Vondell just a moment ago and he had this to say.

I want to give a big thank you to my right hand men and women, the 8th Dragon Squadron. Without them fighting in the black, risking their lives every second, this would have never been possible.
