Five hour commute (not counting strikes and delays etc) so its off my list unfortunately, if it was work from home I could do it

Surely setting the server up so its possible would be trivial for FDEV and would have a HUGE uptake on applications.

II think it's a channel and way of making content that people want to engage with.

No offence intended but no... I bought & backed ED to play IN GAME content and I (and I assume a lot of others) want to know IF you're gonna start adding any. We don't need specific dates, we don't need firm time commitments that the devs need be concerned about keeping to, but we DO want to know the general direction the game will be heading and if it will be heading back toward the values found in the DDF/DDA which were the whole reason many of us backed it.

If I wanted to watch videos of other people playing a game I'm already bored with I'd get onto youtube.

There's an "actual" Cambridge here in NZ that I could get to ....... I think the 30 hour commute to your Cambridge might get a bit wearing

What a wuss - I'm in NZ too and I'd do it - if they pay the airfares etc. The commute wouldn't be a problem. (I know i'm safe - no-one will ever call me out on this)
