hi i have just got back off holliday got the new update and a new clipper i have loged on through steam and .long on game and go into the modual change window and now my comp is shutting down and rebooting temps not above range ie 53c i have 2x gtx1070 new mother board asrock i7 watercooled prossesor 64gig mem 9 internal fans .my comp is only shutting down playing elite never happened before ?

Occasionally, specific issues with a PC crashing in ED and nowhere else have been tracked down to that PC's PSU. ED seems to create higher peak loads than other software, which might overstress a marginal (by design, build quality or age) PSU.

Check event viewer's 'administrative events' for errors around the time of the shutdown.
Chances are it's a memory stability or power issue. Elite: Dangerous is quite a bit more demanding than people tend to acknowledge and can reveal issues with systems that work fine in most other games.
