Companion app for Android?

Hi all - is there any chance of getting the companion app for Android? It's been a year since the app launched for iOS.

Also, for those who've used it, do you find it useful?

Oh that's too bad. I wonder why its only for PC, it's not like there's a major difference in the game between systems? Should be easy enough to patch it for Xbox :|

FD doesn't like Android, or Xbox, that's why they aren't supported. But hey at least you have it better than those of us with windows phones. Don't dis I like my windows phone.

I'd guess it's a matter of where you have most of your customers and also what is your key strengths (more devs have PC expertise?)

Anyways, It'll be nice to get the app for XBox users as well AND on Android. :)

My beloved Lumia 1020 broke and Vodafone replaced it with an Android. I couldn't live with that mess so I sold it and bought a Blackberry Classic. You think Windows phones are neglected? Try a Blackberry :D

At least you get a proper keyboard. I used to have a Nokia e7 before they got bought by ms. Now that was a barren ecosystem lol

It only bothers ppl that HAVE to have apps to live life and function. I on the other hand find the Microsoft built in apps do all I need. And mine is Nokia, best phone maker ever. IMO obviously. Nokia icon. 2 years old and runs as gorgeous and smooth as the day I bought it, and still has the 2nd best camera on the market. Blackberry was nice, I heard they're making an android comeback. Personally I do not like google nor do I trust them, and there buddies Samsung they have too much information about their users...

Apps have become crazy, my daughter wanted the Starbucks app so bad, why? Cause her friends said she needs it, do they drink coffee?.... No. Do they need it no. Is it cool to have apps? Um they seem to think so. As in the teens. Maybe I'm just old and don't get it idk

I think a companion app would be great if could let you modify your ship well your not home or see the star maps or power play stuff or even browse ships or markets or even if your playing use that to select route to destination it would just be good all around

The PC IOS app does most of that. But hey, if we get to 500,000-1million sales then maybe FD will take our platform more serious. Not that it matters they will never make a WP10 app.

I think it would be super if FD made an API available so that anyone can create an app/interface to do this. Should be easier than building the app themselves.

This would be great if they do this. Everyone knows that to be a proper software company you need an API now. Otherwise you're missing out on major dev points... And that whole collective input thing.
