Ship Builds & Load Outs comparing modules is funn't

I notice that there is not really a difference between the C class and the B class sensor. See image below:

Compare Sensors.jpg

The way I read it...the B rated sensor cost more, is heavier and uses more power yet does not improve on the range. What is going on here....I feel like I am missing something because i have seen this very thing in other modules too...like the Kill Scanner:

Compare the KWS B to A and the A cost a bunch more and uses double the power...benefit...non-existent?

The blue font indicates a performance increase right? So maybe it isn't being displayed on account of rounding...for example KWS B has a range of 4 KM but the superior KWS A has a notably improved range of 4 KM and 1 millimeter.

B class modules are heavier and have better armor. some of the stats are rounded so say a scanner has a C class that's 4km range and the B class says the same 4km range it's actually 4.5km.

We need better info and Michael Brooks has always said they intend to have better info but no eta on when.

You gain 0.5 KM resolution with B, the UI just rounds numbers. Because UI programmers are stupid everywhere.

Thank you for filling in the blanks. Until the details become more meaningful, i'll just have to deep google.

Some of the module info is...less that detailed, haha. :D I'm really not one of those punters who likes to come on here and complain about everything. I've really enjoyed the countless hours I've already sunk into this game. But the shields in particular are just ridonk. If it wasn't for google, you would literally be picking shield generators at random! Even something as simple as a shield strength percentage like the hull (I like the 3 rings visually but I'd like an additional piece of info), and a total strength value when looking at them in outfitting would do a world of good IMO.
