Compass in SRV that shows you which cardinal direction you are facing?

Title. It'd be really nice to have a compass showing what cardinal direction you're facing, so that you can tell if you're heading towards the north pole or south pole, or even just west or south. It'd be a great tool for people like me who like to just drive around on planets for hours on end. Maybe on a planet's surface map too?

While all bodies have a coordinate system, I wonder why would you wanna go in a specific direction, as there shouldn't be a need for such orientation system. If you have a set of coordinates you are heading you, well you can do just that, without caring for what the planet generator decided to be north.

If you really want to know you can simply orient your vehicle in a way that the second coordinate indicator doesn't change when you move. That direction would be the north-south one. Then move in a way that the changing indicator shrinks, i.e decreases. That would be your north. That said, north is simply a convention and doesn't mean too much.

North is whatever you want it to be 😂 it only servers to identify other directions on a coordinate system. The north's definition is whatever really.
