WEEK 2: THEME: YOUR DREAM ENCOUNTER IN ELITE


RULES and GUIDELINES
1. No flooding the thread... you are welcome to post as many times as you want, conversation is fine... ONLY qualifying post's can win. So it will not help your chances to spam the thread.
2. Posts qualify by meeting the theme of that weeks draw. These will be set in the thread and this 2nd post will be updated with winners and previous themes.
3. Winners will be decided by a random.org generated number, and the corresponding post will win unless if is deemed to not meet the theme.
4. Psykokow and Mobius are providing all prizes.
5. Maximum prize is 1 mug each and 1 poster – you may re-enter each week to try to win a poster if you have won a mug already. (You will not receive 2 mugs)
6. Mods and employee's of Frontier Developments are welcome to enter, though employee already have the mugs... so you aint getting another one!!!

FAQ:
Q: If I win a mug can I enter the competition again to try to win a print?
A: Of course you can, should you win a mug and not a poster then we will re-draw another post to win the mug.
Q: If I don't want the prize and would prefer a cash alternative, is that possible.
A: No ya cheeky ******!!!! Take the mug, don't be one!
Q: I don't want Mobius or especially Psykokow to have my address..?
A: I can bring or send mugs to any elite meeting near you if you intend to attend, other than that I will need an address to send your prize to. However I psykokow have run a mail order company for 5 years and am very capable in shipping parcels and keeping your details safe until the competition is over at which point I will delete them. I will ship to any address you prefer.

I'd love to meet Josh Atack and Ben Parry, so I could pitch my sitcom idea to them. It's about two guys that work at a games design company and it's called:

Atack and Parry.

They're wacky and fun. Ben is always shouting 'Ataaackkk!' and lunging at Josh with inflatable swords/hotdogs/pens/lightsabers made from glowsticks. Josh always responds by shouting 'Paarrrrryyy!!!!', and defending himself with biscuit tin lids/art folders/coders/LCD monitors/cheese wheels.

Episode One: Josh is horrified by the badger cull, and wants to meet up with Brian May from Queen to pledge his support. Ben has to fix a procedural-based pixel shader so that the game he's working on doesn't crash on certain AMD graphics cards.

Okay, so it's not quite there yet, but I'm sure you can see the potential.

Love to meet a Farragut cruiser, manned by The Mighty Jingles so i can hear him yell at me while i kill him with my mighty MK..and or Doctor Who and see how well he does fighting me time and time again, in a endless fight to the death and i know i will die sometime's but still will be fight till the end of time then ;)...also reason for Jingles is he sounds awesome and i would love to meet him in game and have a blast and who doesn't want to fight a TimeLord

Sorry you only got to bump into me today then Alien... ;)

I'd like one of the two, or both, really...

JJ Abrams in the new Enterprise, so I could blind him with lens flares from my laser beams as I blow up his newfangled creation...

The mining ship Red Dwarf, because doing a flyby on it would be epic... Lister should be on the side painting as well.

Ok, more real-worldish, I'd be incredibly excited to be able to flash my lights at CDR Braben before he blew me up - and be recording at the time...

Overall, I'm just giddy when I see someone I know from the forums... My best experience was really one of my first ones, when I met CDR Jenner and lost a dogfight, with Yaffle watching on Twitch, the two folks I've had the pleasure of writing a lot of my fan fiction with in the bar. Small world...

It's gotta be Khan Noonien Singh (and I mean the proper one, played by Ricardo Montalbán in Space Seed and The Wrath of Khan), just so I can yell 'Khaaaaan!' in a Shatner styleee as I fly in to attack him. :D

Dream meet would be... don't know, really. I still want to get my hands on the game!

Well... Michael Brooks, so I could send him a text message saying "Soon..." right before I shoot out his engines and watch him drift in space.

I dreamed of meeting Frank in the deep darkest regions of space, but he didn't have a space ship, he was sitting on a bar stool and was leaving a trail of some sort of obnoxious looking green gas.

Despite not having a ship, he was really travelling!

I would dearly like to meet George Lucas and blast him into a million bits. Episodes I - III will never be forgiven......

On a slightly less sinister note, I'd also like to meet Prof Brian Cox and take a tour around the Galaxy with him giving me a guided tour I could understand.

So, I'm guessing you'd like to meet The Amazing Mobius (with his photoshop sense) and The Rt Hon Lord Psykokow T Madkow in game so you could exact generations of blood war revenge on them for making your sister's brother's uncle's third cousin twice removed from area 52 look like one of Picasso's kindergarten paintings?

I'll get the popcorn. :D
