Attention Commanders, its competition time again!

We're holding a competition on our Twitter page for free tickets to the BAFTA Inside Games Showcase event. To enter simply Tweet something along the lines of...

I can't wait to play @EliteDangerous at the @BAFTAgames #InsideGames Showcase event

Please include the @EliteDangerous , @BAFTAgames and #InsideGames tags to enter the competition. BUT be creative with your tweets!

Terms and Conditions

- Tickets are for the day event only, i.e. The Inside Games Showcase event which runs from Midday to 5pm.
- The event is set during the day, on a Wednesday in London so you will have to arrange your own time off work and travel arrangements to get there and back.
- The event is open to over 18’s only and proof of age may be asked for at the venue.
- You can enter this competition as many times as you like, but please refrain from re-tweeting the exact same tweet/spamming.
- It will be your responsibility to pick up the tickets on the day of the event.
- Winners will be contacted via Twitter by the @EliteDangerous account
- Each winner will receive a pair of tickets.
- Winners will be selected randomly, with one pair going out every day, starting from Wednesday 5th of March 2014 -Sunday 9th of March
- Employees and/or associates from Frontier Developments are exempt from this competition.

I like twitter but I can't make the BAFTA shindig. If I tweet about this and happened to win can I donate my tickets to someone else or am I better just not tweeting about it. Don't want to take a prize from someone but happy to spread the ED word to anyone who will listen (and even those who don't want to listen!)

Nice touch, but it's too late to arrange travel from Scotland. Price of flights has gone out of my reach from Edinburgh. Even from yesterday when it might've been just in my price range....

It seems I'm actually disqualified from all competitions nowadays. Never registered for Facebook or Twitter and I'm not an alpha-male/female. What's wrong with ordinary webpages today, must it be all tweets and likes and whatnot?

Me neither. I was logging a fault call with Dell the other day and when we were wrapping up I was asked if I had a twitter account so I could subscribe for updates.

considering the cost of travel compared to the ticket price its not much of an exclusion unless you live in London, BAFTA tickets are only £12, it would cost me that to get a taxi to my local main line station, plus another £100 for the train ticket.

I am looking forward to seeing the game at the showcase. I do not have Alpha, but have watched lots of videos on YouTube. It will be good to get my hands on it...
