Hello zookeepers,

I would like to present you my finished zoo.

The zoo is called "Ahrensee". It got its name from the adjacent lake and the baroque castle.

It is a young zoo with many modern buildings and elements. All are self-built.

In the zoo live 202 animals. 34 species of animals in enclosures, 20 in vivariums. The zoo and the animals are divided into five areas: the entrance area, Asia, Australia, Africa and the large glass dome.

The main entrance is used by visitors who come by car and use the zoo's own parking garage.

The Amur tigers have found a home directly in the entrance building.

The adjoining reptile house houses 8 vivariums, as well as the Adalbra turtles and Nile monitors.

Area 2: Asia

The Asian area is the largest area of the zoo in terms of surface area.

Here live 8 enclosure species and one with the Indian scorpion a vivarium animal.

TThe highlight of the area is the East Asian complex with the red pandas, Japanese macaques, pangolins and giant pandas. In the giant pandas the male is separated from the female and the young.

the tropical glass dome is the greenest and for me the most beautiful area Here live 9 enclosure species as well as 9 vivaria. The hall is over 20,000 square metres in size.

First of all you are welcomed in the hall by the Borneo orangutans.

A little further on you can get food and drinks in the tropical restaurant.

Behind this rock formation you will find the most dangerous animals in the hall, the jaguars.

The Africa area is opened by the chimpanzees.
