"people are just moving in" "the pioneers are on way" is a weak argument.
The building completes as soon as you deliver the last 1t of materials.
You travel faster then light, in big space ships. With 1000000000000000 billion people living in the bubble, as soon as a spot opens people would take the first shuttle out and reach it in 1 day.

Let me guess, you're being sarcastic?

The vast majority of structures are not new assets, they were already developed and being used. What's new? Colonization ships? What else?

A "new aspect of the game"? What's your point? Players don't get to design new expansions to a game. The "methodology" is part of that design, it's called game development. It's how it's done. And none of that has anything to do with what the players are now doing.

How many new systems could you do as a FDev team member, in say, a week?

How many co-workers would be on the task of placing new stations, naming, and deciding what type of stations on a given world? And then have to actually place all those stations in each system.

Could you do 25,000 in 2 weeks? Uhm, no. Expanding the galaxy would take the developer AGES to accomplish.

Even thou the system really looks like a "map editor" for any other game,I still like it. I just dont like the part where you have to haul for tens of hours to build stuff.

Absolutely.
It really makes no difference how or when new colonies are added to the map, I'm never going to be able to visit all the systems that were available at launch, let alone the new ones (that are going to start looking just like the originals).
But I really admire all the new work FD have put in and am prepared to stand up and give them their due.

It's not weak argument if that's actually how it works in the game. Advanced technology and large populations don't necessarily mean anything happens instantly anyway.
