Completely empty Instances for 2 days straight?

For about 2 days now seems like There is barely a player to be found, even in the community event systems. I know there are more players out there as a few days ago there were many. Not sure why this is, I have tried restarting the game over and over again to try and get an instance with more players. Feels like i'm I'm playing in solo. Anyone know why this is or how to fix it?

I'm sure it's not a case, but you wasn't a cheater was you and have found yourself in shadowland?

Shadow ban sounds like going to jail. Separate player from the general population until the former learns norms of behaviour.

Aye, I just thought "shadowland" sounded more dark and gloomy. If you're a cheater you're in the deepest dungeon of shadowland. Sorry, getting carried away now

It could be shadowland, but it could also be network issues. I know that one of the earlier patches increased the number of cmdrs many times over, and I've heared people who still barely see other people unless they manually change some network settings. Not an expert on that but don't assume the OP has to be a cheater.

I'm having a hard time recalling the last time I saw anyone.

I've parked my ship a few days ago in a system at war (at the time, I haven't checked lately). That day, I went to the CS to fulfill a mission to kill warships. I did that, came back to the station, repaired and fuelled, and I looked at the Traffic Report.

1 Cobra.

I drive a Cobra.

Isn't the traffic report supposed to count the NPC ships in warzones? Maybe none of them ever touched a base in that system. I can think of three that didn't for sure.

This may be the case, maybe I am in shadowland. Although I have never cheated in any way, never combat logged or anything. I don't even alt+tab from the game.
