Completely Mute Music

Is there any way to completely stop any kind of music playing?

I dropped out of supercruise in the middle of nowhere and shut down all possible systems just to feel the emptiness of space, just to find myself listening to an eerie space theme in the background. It's a nice background music, but as I have all music in mute, I expected this to be gone too. Anyway to get that off too?

Options, Audio should have what you need.

Thanks Cody, but all music options are already set to mute, and just in case, the music volume slider is set to 0 too. I still can hear that background music or effect though.

If the MUTED setting is on for music in the options it should cancel all music tracks.

There are sound FX that might sound a bit like faint electronic music - is that what you're hearing? Sit dead in space and point at a nearby nebula and you'll hear - sounds.

I play without music too and you can still hear very eerie music during fuel scoop for example.

There's background music? I switched it off on day one and havent heard any in game music since.
