When you come to the aid of an NPC for no fuel, do you keep sending them fuel until they fly away to complete the mission, or is one enough? I've shot 5 limpets already. The stranded ship just stays there.
Good question! not 100% sure, but having done a few wingman rescues I will do my best. If the system has a station or outpost, one ton of fuel should be enough to get the job done. If the NPC is stranded in a system with no services, they would need enough fuel to reach the nearest system with services (or fuel star if they have a fuel scoop.)
When I rescued a squadron member, it took 8 limpets to allow him to jump 3.8 light years.
They should add a message from the NPC at the end of refuel. "Hey bro, thanks for the fuel, could you clean my windscreen with some 60 grit sandpaper while you are here.
Looks like the Repair Scenario is also broken by the update - used to be they would get to 20%, then they would say thanks and fly off. Now they say thanks and just sit there....
