Comprehensive Thread for DK2 Bugs

Yep for me it's judder in Direct mode. Nothing to do with graphics hardware as if I keep my head still (or put the rift down and look at the screen), there is no judder, even when I fly around.
And also the small text issue. Leaning in helps a bit, as does moving my head around slightly while reading so those pesky unrendered pixels make an appearance!

Is Oculus support broken or have I stuffed something up

Hi,
Hope someone can help. I was using DK2 with the Gamma releases but since it went full release I can not get the head tracking working. I have been playing with settings so maybe it was me. Is anyone else having problems. Can anyone suggest what to do ?
Thanks !!!

I had to update the oculus runtime and all is good again

I have a very strange issue since gamma 2.0. I am using a Saitek x52 and I can't select menu items in left and right panel or starport services with the hat anymore. Well sometime it works but most of the time it doesn't. Same applies for switching energy. Reselect x52 profile in options doesn't do anyting.
This issue only appears when using the rift.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I've had that happen to me. It seems quite irregular though as in it could be working fine most of my game, and then inexplicably stop working. Only quitting the game and restarting it seems to fix it.

With the Galaxy map navigation, please make sure to add "for mouse use" because for my HOTAS setup I have zero issue with it. because the mouse pointer vanishes when I am using my controls, if they do change something, make it not change the way the HOTAS controls work.

Now to ADD to the listing:

When approaching a Planet with rings, when you get close enough to "see" the rocks but still in super-cruse or really far from the disk in normal space, the left and right eye are getting a different randomly generated series of rocks, so it appears as if you have a bunch of simi transparent rocks as you approach. This is kinda disorienting, as you can not tell distance if each eye is seeing something different

Just want to say about the hat switch:

I use the Logitech G940, the analog thumb-stick it has I have set to my vertical and side thrusters.. several builds ago used to just lose their control at random times. I think people had a workaround to go into and out of galaxy/system map, but it has been fixed since gamma.

I am just posting that in case it might be related to the saitek losing its controls, maybe something similar?
