Hardware & Technical Computer requirements for Planet Coaster - Need Help!!

Please can someone help me, I have no idea what I am looking for!
My son is desperate to have the Planet Coaster game and his current laptop is ancient and will not run the game.
I have read the minimum and recommended requirements for the game and it is all like a foreign language to me! Lol.
I have found a laptops that is within my budget that may be sufficient to run the game but before I spend my money on a new computer for him I want to make sure the game will run.
Has anyone got any idea if the game will run on a Lenovo z50 with an AMD FX7500 processor with an AMD Radeon R7 graphics card?
I'm sorry I don't really know a lot more about it. I am just a parent trying to find the right computer for my son to be able to play the game he so desperately wants.
Grateful for any advice, thanks.

Unless space and/or mobility is an issue I would suggest you go the route of a full PC. If you buy a gaming laptop it will almost certainly be more expensive than a comparable gaming PC. Yes, the PC will take up more space, but it will also be possible to upgrade the PC in the future (not normally possible on a laptop, barring memory).

OK, I have had a quick look at the requirements, and they are not too high. However, that laptop (Lenovo z50) may not have a powerful enough graphics card. It depends on what your budget is.

whats the model of the graphic card?

It'll be integrated with the processor on that one, that's an APU powered laptop she's looking at there. It's roughly as fast as a GT 720M, as such it'll *maybe* handle the game on it's lower settings & probably not provide an enjoyable experience.

If it doesn't have to be a laptop then I would suggest something along the lines of this as a minimum to play the game & actually have fun too. It's available with or without Windows 10 too, so that part is up to you.

While there are cheaper AMD options this one allows you to upgrade to the higher powered current generation Skylake processors (i3, i5, i7) without too much fuss so can easily be made to keep up with the latest games, without having to change the whole system all over again.

A monitor isn't necessary either if your son has a modern flatscreen tv (one with HDMI) and both keyboard & mouse are very cheap to buy too. In all it's a fairly decent pre built system for the price.
