Concentrated Signal Sources disappearing act

I just popped into an undiscovered M system (fuel stop) not too far from the border of the inner/outer Orion Spur. As usual a quick scoop then a look at the FSS. There on the graph are listed 3 concentrated single sources. I swing the nose of the Ghost around and poof, gone from the scanner. Is this something new? Bug? Did I surprise ET and Alien and they got out of Dodge? Or maybe I just need to clean my canopy. It was just very strange. Anyone else have this happen?

What do you mean by "gone"? CSS are often autoresolved in the FSS once you FSS the planet they are near, but in that case they should now show in the Nav panel as usual 🤔

Gone. I popped in and the first three worlds were under 20 ls from the M star (auto resolved) there to their left in the field of the FSS where concentrated signal sources are there were 3 blips (not in the belt area). As I swung the nose of the ship to try to locate all three singles just disappeared from the scanner. It has me scratching my head. Nothing in the nav panel.

At this point I'm marking it up as a strange glitch or bad bacon with breakfast.

Signal sources do have a timer on them after which they expire, so that was probably what you saw. However, new ones should spawn in soon enough afterwards.
Then again, I haven't hung out long enough after any to know if this is still the case.

Yeah, the thing is they weren't over in the Transient single area but solidly in the CSS area of the scanner. Tried logging out, the didn't show again. Tried jumping out and back, same no show results. Like I said at this point I think it was just some strange glitch, just caught me by surprise and that was the reason for the post. I've moved on. If I come across it again I'll do my best to at least screenshot or if time a vid, but it all happened within 5-8 secs of honking the FSS.

Oh well, back to my planned route. I'll go check the expiration date on that bacon I had for breakfast ;) Thanks for responding and trying to help.
