Greetings. I have been playing E.D. since 2015 and most of it has been in VR. Since the release of Odyssey, I played a little bit in Pancake mode, but I have mostly stuck with Legacy as the image quality in VR is much much better (aliasing is a pain, but it's even worse in Odyssey), and not to even mention performance...
Now we are heading in 2025, and I'm starting to worry that the Legacy servers being shut down if no one keeps playing. I sincerely hope they bring the game offline in some capacity if they are going to shut the legacy servers down, as I feel it would be a tremendous loss for the VR experience. It's been 10 years, and E.D. Legacy is STILL amongst the best VR experience once can have.
I guess in theory I could bite the bullet and upgrade to Odyssey in VR, but honestly it's really not as a fun of an experience....
I wanted to post this here to make Frontier aware and show interest in Legacy, even if I'm alone...
