Any type of mission/system/state that typically gives these out lately? I thought I was seeing them alot for passenger missions awhile ago, but now I can't find any. And yeah I know about the other ways, but I'm trying to take a bit of a break from engineering mat gathering in the normal sense, and would like to just casually grab some while doing missions.

It’s easier to go to Dav’s Hope and farm for half an hour. Even though the place have been nerf’d, there’s still a lot of materials to get fast.
I spent 30 min of farming there two days ago, and condictive ceramics where plentyful.

Not only ceramics, conductive polymers have not been seen (by me) in a loooong time. Been to Dav's hope where they are supposed to be found but despite numerous relogs not a single specimen.
Where did you come up with that nonsense?
There are 10 points where materials appear at Dav's Hope - there are the same 10 places as there have always been. The place has been given a make-over, ground slopes differently, the Hobbes sign has been corrected, base comms uplink no1 now works again.
The only "nerf" was that the bug that allowed you to access the main data point to farm data mats until the cows came home is now returned to it's normal state of access once, then it says "accessed" until some timed reset (I suppose the normal 2 to 3 weeks).
I don't know why people are posting this rubbish about Dav's Hope being now unproductive - is it the Kremlin's disinformation squad getting-in some practice?
It might be because FDev fixed the exploit that allowed perma-farming of CIF at Dav's Hope.
