Since the Steel Wolves have moved to PC, we haven't found any cohesive federal groups. With that in mind, we figured on restarting ConFed on the PC side of the game.
What is ConFed?
ConFed is a coalition of like minded federal squadrons who have formed a defensive and cooperation pact with one another. It is made up of lawful oriented groups who have a desire to support one another in politics with their factions, security services in member systems as well as the broader Bubble, and bring the good name of the Federation to the galaxy.
Who is able to join?
Any federal aligned squadron who are lawful can become a member. Any independent aligned squadrons who are lawful can become pledges of the coalition and are granted some of the benefits like the defensive pact.
Do you need to have a minor faction to join?
No. While having an attached minor faction is great as far as involvement with one another it is not necessary. Squadrons without minor factions though would be encourage to pick a fellow members space who does to headquarters in. This is for immersion as well as playing together, but again not a requirement.
Benefits of joining ConFed?
For squadrons who have a minor faction, it will provide support from other members when needed. For squadrons without a minor faction, it gives space to have a headquarters around friends. For all it gives a broader community to play with that are like minded and of course with the Thargoid War additional pilots to wing with.
