Last night, after a surfeit of onionhead, I accidentally hailed another commander by typing 06 instead of 07. Anybody else done anything damned stupid recently?

I certainly did! Suspect the other cmdr didn’t know what was going on...
Was rolling for G5 efficient + plasma slug for my new advanced PA's yesterday. I'm very much casual in the sense that I only ever roll 2-3 times per module. I had never seen a god roll before. I'd had some good ones, but never a true "god roll". Well... I finally got one yesterday! Every slider was maxed out. DPS was way beyond maxed out even! I was so excited as I clicked "Apply".
Then it dawned on me: I'd forgotten the dang experimental effect.
Fist pump quickly turned into face palm.
So no, you're not alone in stupids-ville.

Hehe, yea. Not sure yet how I feel about the new system. Just figured I'd get as much as I could G5'd in the old system for my Conda and start fresh with the new system on a Chieftain and (one day) a Corvette.
This one night, after ingesting quite a lot of this 'white wine' that they grow around here, I was coming out of a xeno fight (victorious) with a wing of four. I waked out first, and since there was a cg, I scanned the vicinity for threats. Spotted a FDL, scanned his loadout... worrisome. So I messaged my wing 'Hey guys, there is some freak in a FDL cruising around here. Could be a problem'. Of course I forgot to press tab before transmission, meaning that I send the message to the target instead...
