Conflict Zone info required

Quick question - Was in Fehu last night, took a bunch of Massacre missions.. Against my better judgment I went on a all night bender :/ Got home today and the war zones have vanished! Do they normally finish that quickly? Is there a way to find out when they started? Have a ton of missions that will fail, not worried about the cash, my rep is going to take a hammering.

Cheers

1730GMT is the daily Server tick.

To find out when a Conflict started, have a look at the local news. It'll tell the Date.
In order to see if a Conflict is Player-Supported, check the Delta between involved Factions. If it shows a distinct or even large Delta, then the risk of the Conflict ending (one side won) the next day - or enter a Ceasefire - is naturally high.

It'd be best to choose Conflicts that just broke out and are still inside their minimum duration (3 Days + the classic "overtime" bonus day in which a Ceasefire has a higher chance of appearing).

Go to the target faction's base. Land nearby, then go prospecting in the SRV. You can find about 12 wanted skimmers per hour that count as mission targets..

Thank you so much. I have about 225M worth of missions to turn in and I'm around 30 kills short!

I think that was changed in a recent update. Only kills in Confict Zones count towards massacre missions now.

Yes and if you have massacre mission but no conflict zones you can go to an nav beacon scan it and get a message saying that there are no known targets and that you should be able to hunt them down one by one but in reality this doesn't work
You can find target faction ships around installations and such and they will be labeled as mission targets but destroying them wont count for the mission

So if the conflict zones go you go drop all missions and go dont look back :p

It's usually more productive to set up a civil war and milk missions then, as you can be sure you'll get the full three days, and not just a day or so. It is also possible albeit rare to see massacre missions after a war has ended, although I have not verified this still happens post .03. Look for low population systems as the differences in influence are easier to overcome.

There are still massacre missions generated after war has ended. Sadly this Bug and the Crash-Bug are still NOT FIXED after 2.2.03.

If the faction state suggests they should still be there, you could try logging in and out a few times - I've had conflict zones disappear on me but re-logging brought them back. Don't quote me, but I don't even think this was changing from e.g. PG to solo, literally just logging out and back in.

My experience with re-logging to get them to show up was when I was just sat in a station, but I guess you're aware that (I think) they only show when you're within around 1000 LS. Just in case you have been moving about in system without remembering after your all nighter....
