Powerplay Faction: Edmund Mahon Conflict zones and other Merit questions

I'am sry to ask here but I do not know what to do. I googled, used the search function, I ask people ingame and I do not find anything. So I hope to get help here.

1. I want to fight a little bit. After weeks of trading a few battles would be nice. But I don't find the conflict zones to get merrits for Edmung Mahon. How do I find them or how can I find lists?

2. Is the FSDI really this annoying or am I so bad [sad] If I try to get a npc out to kill him for 30 Merits, I only manage to get about 50% of them out.

3. Is there another way to get Merits without trading? I don't like the option with 10/15/20 Merits every 30 Minutes. I don't have the time and buy them do not worth.

I hope this questions are not to stupid >.< but I really need a helping Hand.

The PowerPlay conflict zones only exists for the powers with Combat expansions: ALD, Archon Delaine, Denton Patreus, Pranav Antal and Zachary Hudson.

Not with the trade powers (meaning the ones that do not have Combat expansions).

You can get merits for undermining. Make sure you have a good interdictor and head off to one of the target systems (see latest powerplay standings). Dock at a station and see your PP contact there. They will tell you what ships to attack. You won't make buckets of merits, but it is combat (so more fun than trading for some), and you will be helping the cause.
