Do these conflict zones including capital ship zones actually have any effect on the ownership of the area etc. I mean, do the conflict zones move to other systems as systems are taken over by the attacking forces or get repelled to a system further back as the attacking forces get repelled ?

i think at the moment, the devs put the capital ships in senna, they are still doing beta testing on some of the geopolitical systems the background simulators, the events on galnet are alloed to function but only in specific systems, whereas mikunn for example is stuck as its been disabled
