Conflict Zones in Solo

Hello everyone,

I've searched the Forums but
couldn't find the answer i am looking for. (feel free to correct me if there is one)

Because of my bad internet connection (stable but very, very slow) i am forced to play solo. Otherwise i would warp around a PC in combat like Son Goku.

Now i've red that there is several syncing between solo and open (trade data/exploration data).
So here's my question. Are the ongoing conflicts synced as well?
I couldn't find any conflict zone in solo so far. If there is none i would be really sad and there wouldn't be any reason for me to continue playing this game. Even if i can't play open i like the thought of being affected by what you guys are doing out there.
But if your influence is limited to trade and explore then i support all "where is the point in playing solo"-threads.

The solo/group/open games all share the same universe; there's no syncing going on, you're just limiting the people that you encounter. With that in mind if there is a conflict zone then you'll encounter it in all three game modes. Right now, the combat zones aren't active, they'll probably start once the main story begins on the 16th of December.

The conflict zones are active , there's a war in Altani system now and others. The main story line is not active, but there are minor conflicts about

Usually the zones are close to planets, within about .3 ls . The system info will tell you if there is war, civil war, boom or expansion state .

Have you been using this zone? I have picked up several kill missions on the warzones in Altani but it doesn't matter what faction I choose, the missions never get updated and 1k per kill doesn't pay for ammo.

I have been there, only for a bit. I understand some of the rewards for the kill missions are buggy but the actual war zone works and u can see the imperial capital ship etc.
