Conflict Zones - only for Wing's

I have an A-Rated Python that I take to HICZs and I do fine. I run 2x Large Gimb Beams, 2x Medium GimbBursts, and 1x Large Gimb Cannon. I have plenty of SCBs to keep me in the fight for very long. Sometimes I get a little stupid and have come close to losing my shields but that's my own fault, I get careless sometimes.

You might try to check out this site and play with your build.
However with 5xbeams your weapon energy pool will drop as fast as loose pants.

I know, but i don't use All at once.
1. C3 Beam Fixed are Primary, 2. D2 Beam Gimbals are Secondary.

1. For fast kill, hard-point destruction (Power plant, Drives, Weapons)
2. For small vessels, for shield dry, for Power-plant hard-points.

Try this:

2 fixed pulses set like one on right or left(chose), with one under cocpit, they cover together nicely. Left and right c3 hardpoints are too far from each other, but bottom and r/l hp quite close, use this. Its good for snipe modules at 1,5 km to 3,0 km with fixed. Rest of weapons are gimballled, 2x c2 pulses with one c3 will tear anything small and helps lot to deal dmg into modules at close range, use gimballs only before you manage to point at taget with fixed, then use all 5 at once.

Set FSD and Cargo hatch on piority 2 and any other module that you dont need at fight. (scoop, intedictor etc) They will switch off automaticly when you deploy HP, so you ship wont shut down.

About shieldbanks, use 2x5b + 1x3b. Second half of cells keep offline, and power them up, when you use all charges on first pair by turn off them first. Now you can charge itself 10 times with mana.

Why pulses? You got only 7c juice plant, if you wanna use better weapons, upgrade plant first. Consider buy A6 plant instead B7 in case if you would have overheat problems.

Note: That bulid might not work:
(100%) 24,88 of 25...
Just downgrade one of boosters into B in case if would not work.

Hope this helps. Of course you will need good manage of pips too, its very important to survive on CZ.

Edit: You can always have two chaff instead boosters in this bulid, allowing to switch fixed pulses to beams, consider this too. chaff are very usefull to ward off turrent/gimball fire, and they are very usefull in PvP.

I don't think I've ever really had any trouble in CZs, except when I once completely misjudged a couple of kills (0% power plant and still alive) and moved on to the next target before waiting for confirmation - my next target was part of a wing, so I ended up with a Conda, a Python and a wing of 4 Vultures on my backside. Run, Robin, Run...

Only ever tried them in tank-spec Vultures, though. Having just put together my first combat Clipper build - figured there was no point just keeping 230mil in the bank, so I bought a Courier and a Clipper and still have 100mil left - I'm gonna start looking for CZs to try it out in. I figure the Clipper's going to be no good for RES hunting, given its size, so I'll probably use it for assassinations and going to war (and possibly PvP too).
