Conflict Zones

I have made some really good cash in Conflict Zones and I enjoy making cash that way, but it seems like CZ are a rare commodity guarded by Frontier. There are threads devoted to trying to keep this data, there are websites that are trying to keep up with this data as well. I figured the Galnet news section Security Digest would have the information that I need to join the fray; however, it lists only 10 of the 390 faction locations that are in lock down and 10 of the 824 factions in civil unrest. Why is this a riddle? How do I get the other 1,194 systems, one of them being one close enough to me? If we are going for realism, then I would be able to go to the news and search for systems near me that have conflicts...or go to a bar and get some rumors about civil war, etc. Why can I not do this in ED? Or please point me in the right direction.

I flew to four locations last night (2 unrest and 2 lockdown) looking for a fight, they were all 80 - 130LY from each other, in a Vulture this is a pain. I know that there is a major fight going on in Cuchua, but it is WAY TOO far from my location!!

I have also tried the needle in a haystack, hunting a Crite in a corn field RES's...ugh.

Likewise a list of all systems or even better a website where you could input your location and have listed by distance would be great but I cannot even find anything better than 10 of the 2,000+ list in GalNet.

Any ideas anyone where this info can get sourced?

I agree, I've gotten most of my cash from the CZs. It's easier than RES because it's a guarantee to find lots of things to shoot and no hoping you'll get a big bounty for one of them. It's a pain to actually find one because the area I was fighting in one day will be at peace the next.

YOu should get paid more for conflict zones.

I can make more Bounty hunting in high res zone.

And its not as dangerous either.
