Confused about KWS.

Hi guys just a quick question if you please.



Says he is clean in main view but KWS says a bounty. If i start shooting will i be wanted?

Thought i best to ask first shoot later.

He's clean in the current system, and you'll be wanted, unless you are in an anarchy.

The Kill Warrant Scanner does a search for bounties across all juridictions, so you can learn about (and possibly claim) bounties that are offered by factions from other systems than the one you're currently in. In your case this fella is a wanted criminal *somewhere* but is not in here, which means that you would get wanted if you attack him. I learned this the not-so-glorious way.

As Heartwork points out, anarchy systems have no ruler thus no law enforcement, everyone is free to shoot anyone and get away with it.

Just to clarify my experience with this, I have never seen a rep hit - or red arrow - when killing an NPC in an anarchy, that was obviously clean there, but had a bounty elsewhere.

To be honest, I don't recall seeing any red arrows whilst bounty hunting. Only blue when handing in.

The only time I've seen a red arrow is twice; when I killed a clean target and gained a bounty for it. This leads me to believe that you only get rep hits when you commit a crime. Which is rather good.
