All. I am a bit confused about something that I have been seeing more of. At spaceports, folks seem to like running into the spaceport or sitting in the entryway until they are destroyed. Not really sure what the allure is on getting blown up and paying insurance to be returned. Unless they don't want to fly back to their home system and feel it is easier to just die and rez. ... Not really sure here but curious..... :eek:

it would seem the X-rebirth A.I. works just as well as in X-rebirth, they just lost the ability to fly through stations.

The AI has been like this since forever around stations. I guess it's not fully implemented yet (those are not real players in case you were wondering).

AHHHHH well that makes a little more sense then. I was afraid it was real players.. i feel better about some folks now. LOL...

One way to tell players from NPCs is by their icon on your sensor display; players have a hollow square.

I never see hollow targets on my radar. Havnt seen a real player since beta and i've played nearly every day.
(Yes i'm always in open play)

This is my experience as well, I haven't been able to verify that I've seen another player and I have multiple sheeps and made quite a few millions trading, so it's not like I don't spend time playing. For an online multiplayer game it sure seems dead.

That is because a lot of them congregate in the one area. I see a couple occasionally. Don't forget It is a huge playing area and a relatively small player base.

But there would only be one instance if there were only 3 or 4 people in one system.
plus im hanging around the core systems that were around in beta.
