unsure of where to put this since its not exactly clear but ive got a question about how some things interact when youre in an SRV or fighter (though fighter seems not as confusing.) So i know turrets can be put onto fire at will mode so they will shoot at any hostile ship in range. If im in a SRV and i leave the mothership with the turrets on fire at will while its landed, will it engage any enemy ships that come into range? Like an example was a mission i attempted earlier. I was fleeing a compound with an Asp following me trying to kill me. The SRV survived but before i got 1km off the ground, my actual ship was destroyed by the asp. Could i have had my ship attacking the asp while i was docking with it so i might not have had to pay the stupidly tiny amount of 40k credits. (im cheap)
