Let me preface this by saying I'm fairly new to the game. Only here for 3 weeks so far.
The change in the mission board is a bit confusing. I like how the missions are attached to faces now, makes things more interesting. I accepted essentially the same mission from two different groups to different planets. Kill two skimmers at X location. Easy enough. The reward was 6 figures for each, so not bad for where I am in the game. They also included some items as reward, which was a nice bonus that I've not seen before.
I went and finished the missions, got immediate feedback that I'd accomplished what they wanted, so that was nice. At that point, the mission says, return to me and get a reward. First, at that point, the mission has no pointer as to which Me they're referring to. Second, when I get back, none of the people in the mission board has any item that I'd expect as a 'claim reward'. Nothing. They have new missions, or missions I'm not able to take. But no item in any of their lists to collect my reward.
Of course, part of my galavanting around the planets involved picking up lots of loot. Certainly more than I've seen before the update. So, when I got back, my cargo hold was full. Since I was at a loss as to what to do next, on a whim I decided to go sell 4 items. Then I went back to the missions board, and magically the two claim reward items were now being displayed. That is until I accpted one of them (which gave me 4 items), then the other one disappeared again until I sold more cargo to make room to accept the items from the other mission.
Of course, now I know, but having items disappear just because you can't accept them is pretty odd. They should be listed, but show an error/warning that you can't accpet the reward because your cargo is full. Then I'd have at least known what to do instead of guessing.
It would also be nice if the mission continued to display the group that the mission belongs to.
While perhaps not a bug, it's certainly unintuitive design.
