Confusing System Map

I really try hard to find aspects in Odyssey that work out of the box and are likable. I currently don't fancy FPS, I'm more interested in exploration. So I'm trying the exobiology thing. Jumped to a randomly selected system and found this:

And got confused. Planet 3 is an Earth-like world and has the Odyssey halo. So it should be landable and walkable? No, it's not. Planet 1 and 2 have the Horizons halo and have Odyssey conflict zones. Though, no Odyssey halo, but they are landable and walkable. I DSSed planet 2 to find exobiology, though, the DSS does not give me the filter option.

I've got 2000 hours in this game and may be a slow learner, but I managed to learn (and somewhat understand) Horizons. Odyssey confuses me. I wonder how new players shall get into this game when even somewhat experienced players are struggling.

Thanks, now I looked for planets with the halo (EDO) and the arc (EDH). It took me some time to find one. Are they so rare?

I DSSed planet 5 and expected to get the filter options for resources. Though, they're not there:

My key bindings for the DSS filters are set. Which took me also some time to figure out.

EDO is not only bug-ridden and an UI/UX nightmare. FD also leaves the player in the dark (literally!).

Not all of them have life. I'm in Luyten 145-141 right now, and there is defiantly life here if you want to pop over and try somewhere you can guarantee results.

Edit: took me ages to find life when they ported my CMDR over in the Alpha!
