Confusion about Volungu Community Goal

Hey bros, I am a bit confused about the defence for Volungu. I entered the high intensity conflict zone and expected massive fights but the only kind of combat is when small Imperial wings and waves approach to the Farragut Battlecruiser and get shot by it/by players. Is that the only kind of combat what takes place or did I just miss the real event there?

The recentish change to capital ships has made any high-intensity warzone that they visit largely pointless. If you want actual kills, I'd suggest that you fight in the low-intensity zone.

Despite the fact that they have essentially broken high-intensity warzones at a stroke, FD claim that it's working as intended. Enjoy.

You need beams and to target the power plant and fire when the hull gets down to 10% to steal big kills, works 75% of the time.

But if you can take out the power plant before the hull you'll get the kill 90% of the time.

and there was me searching for "warzone kills broke"....

musta been nurfed because of all those cheating losers parking a laser turret ship next to a capital class while they slept for effortless cash boosts.

I really dont get these people using exploits to earn - ifya dont wanna experience the game and work your way up with honor, why the frak play at all? seriously, what's the hurry? look at the scale of the game, you'll be playing it for years, you'll have it all eventually either way right? Take all those wastes of skin idiots pirating without hatchbreakers n those just murdering players for no reason whatsoever with you n frak off to a pvp shooter...

since wings, it's got to the point i can't play in open unless i've got crew members online. at 3+mil a rebuy i lost 12mil + i dunnowot in cargo to groups ganking me for no reason over a period of 3 days, no response to local chat or dropping a lil cargo... If there was a way of posting hits on the boards i'd bother to note the names of these morons and front a mil a kill on the scum, rolling contract for a week to a month depending how badly i'm on the rag about em....

anyways - low intensity if the high has a capital (and prolly better off in solo or private group right?) - thanks.

Danm, I just jumped in every single high intensity and found 1 or 2 capital ships melting npc's and kill stealing my kills.

It does seem that both exploiters and Fdev have broken the most wonderfull combat experience in ED!!! congrats both!!! :mad::mad::mad:
