Powerplay Confusion regarding faction weapons/modules. Help appreciated! :)

I know you have to be rank three with your faction on the fourth week, but do you have to be rank three for the weeks prior?

I.e. is it this: rank 1 > rank 1> rank 1 > rank 3 = weapon, or: rank 3 x4 in a row = weapon?

I'm asking because I want to grind for the prismatic shields. Five million a week would be nice too.

EDIT: Rank 3 is 500,000, isn't it?

Rating 3 in your fourth week is all you require.

And yes, the salary at the end of the week you're Rating 3 is half a million.
